We talked with self esteem
Telling you how I felt
An endless flowing stream
Together our hearts dwelt

Closer I stood before you
With hands held beside
Seeing a different view
Holding a secret inside

To tell you I love you
Seemed to long to say
In a world where we flew
Unseen by shades of grey

Sat near a heart-shaped tree
Feeling your warm embrace
Looking up the sky to see
Stars falling down in space

Wished this moment to last
As the final star surpassed
Smiled at the fading shadow
Waking up hugging my pillow
