Rage of Civilisation

Dressing naked
is the password
to this knees-up

where dimples
consumed by hostile
kisses mutate

where supermen run
into blind bullets
and professors darkness
of their bottomless knowledge

where random quests
for limitless latitude
cage some, maim others
kill everyone

'we shall leave
no stone unstained
till liberty is chained
to our whims!'

'we too shall leave
no one standing
save liberty
and liberty alone!'

nakedness indeed
is the password
to this great knees-up.

There is no such thing as freedom or liberty in the broad sense. Study enough history and discover the truth. History is riddled with tyrants. Most of these tyrants didn’t start out this way. They promised freedom and liberty but in the end seldom if ever deliver once they put the crown on. Individuals define what freedom an liberty mean on a one by one basis. Some of these individuals strike out to destroy everything that doesn't match their definition.

The poem is interesting beacuse of the metapfors used by the poet, which strikes one, which makes him read.
I loved
"where dimples
consumed by hostile
kisses mutate"

and
"where random quests
for limitless latitude
cage some, maim others
kill everyone"

The second one is so true, and so beautifully/mercilessly expressed.
I look afer to more of you

This spoke to me in a very deep way. These lines especially caught my eye:

"where supermen run
into blind bullets
and professors darkness
of their bottomless knowledge

where random quests
for limitless latitude
cage some, maim others
kill everyone"

I love the alliteration and the imagery. This piece is beautiful and thank you for sharing it.
