Best Friends
I never realised a heart could be so big.
You are so caring, and have so much to give.
I can talk to you about the good or the bad.
When i'm around you, i never feel sad.
You are the light at the end of the tunnel.
You are the reason i take another breath.
You are the breeze on a hot summer day.
You are the water in a fierce bush fire.
I don't know how i met someone like you,
but i only get out of bed to be around you.
To tell you the truth, the meaning of life,
is having a friend like you.

lovely piece, though i thought the MC will say that he/she has fallen in love with the friend. my favorite lines were the last two ones, a wonderful finish.

I like this poem alot. It reminds me of one of my friends at my school. It makes me think of what he means to me, friend wise.
"I can talk to you about the good or the bad.
When i'm around you, i never feel sad." as taken from text, this line hit me deep in the heart. Good work!!
