Baron d'Arignac
Half a bottle of you
and i'm
spinning
already.
Half the thought
of you
filled with me
invokes
fireflies
into my
stomach.
Half a pack
of your smoky eyes
undo
my brain.
What more if i had
all of you?
High
and drunk
on the attar
of your
man-scent.
Damn.
My spirit could
ride it
all the way
to heaven.
And should i
hang over
the cloud cliffs
while i'm there,
why,
i'd rush
back
down
and have
more
of you
again.

| This is my favorite form - words cascading down the page like wine being poured into a glass, or water flowing out of the mountains. Everything you write is gorgeous, and yet I want to critique, to find a word out of place or misspelled, but find only beauty. |

| Dear Joni, thank you for the comments. Yes, Baron d'Arignac is my favorite red wine. There ought to be French wine, even in California. cheers! - tina |
