Footwork

I got so hungry yesterday
Starvation almost won:
But then an idea came my way,
I ate my fingers one by one.
Starting with my left hand
from my pinky to my thumb:
Can't say they were delicious
but with catsup and some rum,
they weren't half bad,
to say the least.
Then my right hand
what a feast!
Guess you'll ask if i'm insane.
I might need therapy,
but when it's over, said and done,
What's eating me IS me.
And the logic thinker wonders
how I ever wrote
the awful words contained here
in this silly note.
Without fingers,you'll wonder
how i did it,I suppose...
But friends I never told you
that I had eaten all my toes!
:)

Hah, I was gonna say it reminded me of a sort of crazier Shel Silverstein piece but I scrolled down and saw JMonroe had beaten me to it. Either way, funny piece and I really like that line: "what's eating me is me."

hahaha!
great stuff, short, witty and I wasn't able to read slowly, a faced-paced piece that is humerous.

I think we can all take ourselves too seriously sometimes, I'm a bugger for it.

Well done!

Me'thinks that Charlie Mac would have liked this piece from one of those descending from his very own fingers, toes and etc etc.
Kudos to a 'rising descendant.'
