Trespasser: A quatrain

Trespasser: a quatrain

Boot scuffed rock, death to century old lichen

Careless scars left by some untutored climber

Casual marks disdaining a hardy survivor

Better that boot  never ventured the higher

This was actually a fairly straight forward sort of poem. It was a commentary on those who would climb the higher regions for ego, the view, excercise, but fail to see and respect the life in its environment. It is an eco scolding I guess. There are times in life when it is best for all involved to stay on the trail rather than try and forge upward on your own.

AHH! Not sure if you're speaking of a trespasser on land or on a body: A lot can be read into this short poem.
Thought provoking :) Mysterious!
Good Work Again!
