I'm Sorry

I try so hard I really do
for I only wish you knew
I'ts times like these I wish I could say
I'm SORRY in a true deep way

I looked at her and she kissed me
Oh baby I wish you could see
Every time I look into your eyes
I see myself, my regrets, my lies

How can I tell you that I've cheated
Romance is what I needed
I tried so hard to forget that day
I am so SORRY, I'm SORRY in a sincere way

I have to leave, I can't tell you the truth
I'm sorry for being such a mute
I leave you with this one note
I'm SORRY for leaving you with what I wrote...

Nice job if only words really could describe the sincerity of an apology

A sad poem, Josh. You've written a good description of a breakup.
