What is all this?

Monday, November 6th 2006
Current mood: Contemplative

A couple
Walking by
Baby in stroller
Smiling
Excited about the unknown world
Growing
Learning
Unaware
The negative
Only feeling
The positive
Mom and Dad
Smiling
He grabs her behind as they wander away
Love
Shortly after
Two men
Making fun
An unknown person
With synical voices
"Maybe we should go to the gay bar and get ass fucked by niggers."
What is all this?

This is really interesting. The form and the beat are something you don't see everyday. A refreshing type of piece. Well done!

I actually enjoyed this observation. I mean, this has happened so frequently that I think we all wonder at one point or another what this is - that one beautiful moment can be forced into ugliness by ignorance. The poem could not survive without the ending because it is the whole point of it. :o) like!

Lets not be afraid to observe, express, and analyze the truths of our world. This is not a controversial poem, it's the truth of what is around us all day everyday.

just so there is no misunderstanding, this poem is nothing but an observation made while I was sitting outside a coffee shop. This situation actually happened. The gay bar line wasn't meant for shock value, it was actually said by 2 guys and I was expressing how weird the world is and how I can observe something beautiful and instantly observe something ugly.

I actually thought of this of being funny. I laughed while reading this. I liked it.
