4th November

That was our wedding day.
We laughed about it then.
They call it Mischief Night
With dry Yorkshire humour.
Garden gnomes held hostage.
Tyrants condemned to hang.
Girls and boys come out to play.
Killers stalk them through the mist
Thanks to Social Services.

Mischief night... great night for a honeymoon, Robin. But there would have been more fireworks if you'd waited 24 hours...

i like the ending to this short write. very clever. great words choices for expressing so much with in such a short piece. good touch of rhyme play.
