Not sorry for the new day

How do you tell someone
Your sorry?
For their pain, their loss,
Their trials?

Sorry is only a word, sometimes
With meaning
But frequently inadequate, to convey
The truth

Some things should never happen
To anyone
We all deserve better, even those
Who fall

Hopefully you have someone
To care
To stand behind you, and
Catch you

To be your strength, when you are
All out
To be your hope, when you
Lost yours

But every day, you have
A chance
It's a new morning, with
New possibilities

The bad stuff is in
The past
And today is something new
And different

Oh, the crap might come again
Any day
But, don't worry, because tomorrow is a
New day

Good stuff, Joseph. 'Sorry' never works, only time heals.
I remember once having a day-long argument about the words 'I apologize' not being enough. 'I'm sorry' sounds sincere, 'I apologize' is a total cop-out.

They make hay flavored ones? Damn, what will they come up with next? Personally, i'll stick with the peanut ones. Mmmmm, crunchy :)
