Sheets Cheat

My sheets awaken as she sleeps
Unknowing of the thought that seeps
Like grease from a pore in rearview brain
The sunset of your Cherry Lane

If midnight is a cliche hour
Then 3 o'clock awakes my flower
This time in space is all for you
So drinking guilt, I follow through

I hope you don't mean 'follow through' in the English proverbial sense, Johnny. Rearview brain... her Cherry Lane... Brilliant. I bet that'll wake her up.
