It's Cold Outside
Saturday, November 11th, 2006
It's Cold Outside, Current Mood: Lethargic
It's cold outside
70 year old
Homeless
Shadow boxer
Boxing his way through
Hardcore mosh pit
Arms wailing
Beard greying
Traveled from the river
Boxing for a sliver
Of youth
For feeling
For warmth
A moment indoors
It's cold outside

| For some reason, this reminds me of Simon & Garfunkel's 'Silent Night/Nite', the one with the news bulletin in the background. I like the 'shadow boxer, boxing his way through' and 'traveled from the river... for a moment indoors'. It's freezing outside here, Wayne, so I pity the poor man. Good stuff. |
