Rhyme Gone Mad

Written: 7/2004

Hey, know anybody that needs a poem, a rhyme, a song made up?
The words be-a comin out so lame, like alphabet soup throw-up!

Spitten 'em out like curds-n-whey
At the break ... at end o' th' day
Gotta go ah not: ... stay
Hit-it ... ya; any o-way!!

Gotta rhyme all the time, ain' no reasin
Can't stop ... malaganaleasin'
A-time it's snout, a-time it's pleasin'
Cut me quick, cut me now; I still a-bre'thin'!!

I'm tell en yah, sometimes I jes cant stop!!!
I needs a doctah!!!

Doctah, doctah, please come quick
I is sick, I is sick
Heart's a-thumpin humpa-hick
Need a pill, need a ficks
I be rhymin' freekin bad
Nun my poem talkin sad
Wanna hear las one I had
Bout my Baby, stricken glad

Is there ANYBODY out there who can HELP ME!!

Anybody, anybody, come-n help this man
He's hangin off the edge, thinks he's Peter Pan
Flyin round the room, pen an paper in is hand
Help me peel him off the ceiling,
Tis more 'n I can stand!!

OK ALREADY! I'LL STOP ... just 1 more, please?

Last call, last call
No more now, you rhyme-a-haul
We all here realize yous looney
STOP or I'll pop you in yo grooney!

Easy,now ... slowly ... OK, I think I can stop.

Whew, I almost lost it!

I read your poem to an Irish Setter.
He said each verse got better and better.
You're a very good poet and I guess you know it.
And with a poem like that you certainly show it.

Did you intentionally rhyme the last line with the
[Back to top] short cut. If so brilliant.
Now on to part two.
