Drown The Moon

Masked by a night wind
My thoughts creep towards your heart
Drunk with whispers.
The moon rises in the sky
And jealously I stare,
Knowing her light falls
Upon your brow.
Madly I reach forward
The moon reflected in the water,
In the dark of my eyes
And my hands burn like ice
The lake is so cold,
But I laugh, bitterly
As I drown the moon.

Yes Kat, that's a great ending to another great poem. I love your writing style.

"my hands burn like ice" - woderful image. I also love, "As I drown in the moon." - one of the best ways to go - if you have to go.
