Vampire

Eyes open
Snap
Darkness around
The sweet, warm darkness
Nothing can touch me
I am the night in itself
Snap
Blinds open
Moonlight streams through
A flashback to a time where the moonlight on my skin felt like something
Snap
Back to reality
Back to the gravity pulling me down
Out into the night
I relish the sable atmosphere
Snap
Twig
Human form
Blood pumping
I can feel their heart pulsating
Snap
Getting closer
I can almost feel their pulse
But they cannot see me
I draw them in
Snap
Goes the neck
At least they had a fun ending
I think as I sink my fangs into the flesh
And I drink until every

last

drop

is

gone...
