I'm Afraid
Saturday, November 18th, 2006
I'm Afraid, Current Mood: Sad
I'm afraid
I'm afraid that when I'm on pills
You won't like me anymore
You won't want me anymore
I'm afraid that when I'm on pills
You will forget my substance
I will be numb
I'm afraid that when I'm on pills
I will lose my anxiety
But lose so much more
When I'm not on pills
You are afraid of me
I love me
But am afraid of me
I wish that me
Without pills
Accompanied gain and happiness
I wish that me
Without pills
Made you laugh forever
Without fear
I'm afraid that when I'm on pills
You will tolerate me
Because the real me is gone
I'm afraid that I've lost the battle
I'm sorry to say that I have to be on pills
Don't forget me
I'm afraid

Your poem reminded me the book,"The head Full of Blue" by Nick Johnstone. If you can fınd it, please read. I am sure you will find similarities in his suffering.

| When you mentioned the pills, it really hit me. It was like I was reading my own story. I found this poem very emotional and heartfelt. |

| Fear can be a great motivator, Wayne. and...you are a very courageous man, for courage is born when fear marries action. To act without fear is robotic, no danger and no risk. Your honest passion is what makes you the writer you are. I thank you for that honesty and that passion. Keep writing, Friend. It's also very cathartic, as I am sure you know. |

| Very nice. A topic that I can relate to 10 fold. |

I wont pretend to understand your sorrow.
But I respect the art that comes from it.
Good job. |
