The Dance of Hearts and Daggers

And as the sun falls
(An orange-strawberry waterfall drifting over the horizon)
And the wine passes over my lips
(Like the water of passion flowing onto a rose)
I muse with regret
What I have set out to do
But as it goes with lust
A girl must do what she must

(I will not be on the recieving end of pain)

And so while you are asleep,
My head on your chest,
I will take your heart
And before I do
I shall say Adieu

"I shouldn't have let you live this long. Goodbye, my bastardly promiscuous love."

No regrets.
Just blood.

(I would never let that heart go to waste.)
