When the world spins out beyond my control
When all that I do begins to unravel
I take the time out to make myself whole
I go out of this life and let my soul travel

The world doesn't need me while it spins on
And I don't need it to find inner peace
In the vastness of space I sing a new song
Absorb a great calm and find new energies

Centered and focused I come back to Earth
A new sun is shining in an azure blue sky
I've regained the feeling of what I am worth
I know I can give life another try

Now my soul travels on, in or out of this world
My heart is still tender not dark or defamed
The edge of life's sword can never be dulled
The tragedies to come will surely be tamed
