Whitewashed grin
Practised
Accomplished
Appease a crowd of
Well-wishers
Do-gooders
Winters kiss
Anaesthetises my skin
Sinister days ahead
Weeks
Months
Deep dark dread'¦

very well done. One of the more intersting poems I've read in a while. I love your use of words, as well as your use of rhyme...it wasn't too much. Good job.
