This is your story...read it well

Ashley:
everyone tried to tell me
the things i couldnt see
they tried to tell me that
when the smoke would clear
you werent going to be there
well the smoke cleared
and as they said your gone
its all clear now
i tried to save you from your rmistakes
but now i can see
it's only you who can change you

Crystal:
they told me getting involved with you
no matter the situation,
sober or in a blur
would only lead down one road
a road that i though i knew
one that i figured would lead to the true you
but like they said
by getting involved with you the only thing i could do
is walk away and hope and pray that
one day you will see
that the life you lead is unsafe
and you could always rewind and try to replay

Ashley:
i was warned about guys like you
but there was something about you
something fimailar
like almost staring into my own reflection
but the only difference is
i walked away and got my life on track
but you, you keep on walking back
into the face of danger
into the face of fear
i know you wanna walk away
but it's too little too late now

Crystal:
My mother told me about guys like you
she said you were all the same
my father told me the lines you'd use
he told me that once he had used them too
but me im foolish
about as dumb as they come
i believe i can solve problems
and i did solve all of yours
except one
the one that will follow you
never let you go
i cant solve it i finally figured out
because this one you must solve yourself
maybe with some help you could learn
that the road is rough
but you have to wait your turn
but i know your type
your just like my brother
and you and him have the same destination
either the jail cell or the grave
but to give you the benifit of the doubt
no matter what we really know what your about
