Make a wish

Have you ever wondered?
The magic of the night?
A thousand stars twinkling,
And shining so bright.

The beat of my heart
Dancing with the stars.
The cold wind blows,
With a magical spark.

The night that shines,
Is so irresistible,
My heart I find,
Is yet inescapable.

Make a wish, make a wish.
I wish upon a shooting star.
The scent of magic sparkling in the air,
With all my heart I wish, for once so sincere.

The journey, the path.
My heart leads me on.
With faint scent of magic,
Where I shall belong.

'Lo
Sorry I'm taking so long to reply to your email.
I am sorry for your loss ...
Jay - cool name =D
Btw, upon a re-read of this, the lines

The night that shines,
Is so irresistible,
My heart I find,
Is yet inescapable.

formed a picture of some huge boundaryless shimmering midnight sky above every young desperate child praying for some love in a cold heartless world.
Again, sensational piece, m'friend =D Keep up this funky work
And if I don't talk to you again through comments, hope you have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2007. If the next year brings the kind of writing that you've done this year then you're set for the stars...
