You gazed at me the whole damn football game
I felt the strange connection and I fell
I knew you were the one; I was not tame
We kept it quiet but they all could tell
The week we spent I just could not escape
The feeling that you would be my next beau
And when you broke my heart I had to gape
I guess my heart really did not know you
I tried to block out your telepathy
Although you left me dry, I still loved you
My door was locked and you beheld the key
Too bad I changed the lock and missed the cue
You gazed at me like you had done before
You want me back but I am not your whore

Wowee. I liked this a lot, a lot, a lot! Your first and last lines were immense, and the material in this was wonderful - love your style of piecing together words to form this high-school-quadratic-equation sort of poem.
