Loss of Innocence and Friends
Sometimes I am alone, destroyed,
Cast away, an empty void,
I don't know where the tears have gone,
But I am left with none to cry.
I know now-
That life is pain,
And then you die,
This world is cruel
And love can lie.
When I lie awake at night,
I wonder- what have I become?
Where have you all gone?

I agree totally with Pandora when she states 'we feel so lonely yet we want no one' Man you captured the truth about life. I love the honesty.
thanks

Sad. I like the double use of "lie". I especially like the lines:
donā??t know where the tears have gone,
But I am left with none to cry, |

Sometimes we are so filled with pain that we do not have room for anyone else so we push everyone away.
It is weird. We feel so lonely yet we want no one.
I can relate to this poem. It was written well and expressed what some of us have been trying to say our whole lives.** |

| Wow..there's so much honesty and sincerity in this short, yet profound piece. It's like the final, desperate- yet subtle- cry for help. Nice work! |
