V.

listening to the wind
someone smoking a clove
walking in the rain
the taste of stewed tomatoes
watching the top ten list
late at night

charleston
edisto beach
long drives to nowhere
amaretto at midnight

milky-white skin
emerald eyes
strawberry-blonde hair
addictive laugh
devastating smile
uncomfortable good-byes
comforting welcome-homes

all these things
remind me of you

I know the feeling. But maybe you could shorten the list. The fourth, fifth and sixth stanzas dragged a little. The first stanza was my absolute favorite.
