I'm restless and exhausted
Form my dose of guilty pleasures
I was long overdue for
The prescription ran out
A year and a half ago
My body drained from the drug
I lived on so dependently
Crashed and burned before my eyes
A train wreck of deceit
Lies I told
Spreading through my veins
Crawling up my legs
Getting me in all
The [insert word here] places
Addiction builds,
Take a few more
Who am I kidding?
I've always been addicted
Slip a needle in my arm
Say the right words
And I'll never let go

My dad is a doctor, so I get a lot of stuff with prescriptions and injections ... I like the way you combined a little medicine with a little smashed-up-heart, and you ended up with this.
Final line reminded me of the All American Rejects - Dirty Little Secrets song. =D (One of my favourite songs)
