Destruction

What is this
Where did you come from
Everything is so blurry
I sit and I cry
Wipe the ashes away
Of a love gone wrong

Where is the fire
That once burned for me
All I see now
Is the ashes of its destruction
The ashes of hopes and dreams
Everything that has been left behind

The ruins that are around me
Are too much to bear
How can this be rebuilt
The walls were so high
Then they came crumbling down
And all that is left are ashes

Where is the fire
That once burned for me
All I see now
Is the ashes of its destruction
The ashes of hopes and dreams
Everything that has been left behind
