My world would be complete
You were taken from me
With no warning at all
Now, all I've built up inside
Is starting to fall
I'm like a puzzle
That's torn all apart

If I could be with you

If I could have my way
You'd be here with me forever
And even though you're gone
You're still here
In my heart and mind
Right were you belong

Everyday we pray
That you find happiness
There's just one thing
I'd like to ask you
Do you miss us
The way we miss you
I know you're there
Watching over me
But why won't you answer me

If I could be with you
My world would be complete
If I could have my way
You'd be here with me forever
And even though you're gone
You're still here
In my heart and mind
Right were you belong

Have I become everything
You thought I would?
I've tried my hardest
I've got nothing left to give
But I've finally found myself
After years of darkness
I've finally found the light
You pointed me down the right path
But left when I thought I needed you the most
I never got the chance to say thank-you
But I'll say it now
And hope you'll hear me
When I say
"I love you Daddy."
