Lies

All the lies
I can't stand the words I hear
All the things I see
Are so decieving
One thing to my face
Another behind my back

I didn't ask for this
Maybe I am broken
But these lies need to end
Can't stand this anymore
I didn't ask for this

I thought we were friends
Thought that you cared
Can't believe I was so blind
And believed all the things you said
Didn't think I'd know
Think I'd find out

I didn't ask for this
Maybe I am broken
But these lies need to end
Can't stand this anymore
I didn't ask for this

I can't stand knowing what I know now
How can I live with this
This that I didn't want
Can't believe it came down to these lies
I sit here and wonder
How it is you could do this to me

I didn't ask for this
Maybe I am broken
But these lies need to end
Can't stand this anymore
I didn't ask for this

To think all those times were just pretend
That you really didn't care
To think how I felt
And you tore it all up
And you broke me down
I think I am broken

I didn't ask for this
Maybe I am broken
But these lies need to end
Can't stand this anymore
I didn't ask for this

nice strong concrete sense, nice strong wording that speaks to people more your age (i could almost be your dad but when I was that age this would have spoken to me then) you write well reaching out in concrete, tangible words and forms. Nice
