Cacophony

Motley noise
Quiet shame
robotic sacred rhythm
Heard from the sidewalk
Cafe' watchers take no notice
bubble gum, spray paint
my life, your life
so cliche
The chic ones say
Cup of soup
evolving, molting, molding
forget instead
the poisoned lead
Cup of coffee
counter stain
Bankers watch tangled
in a money chain
urine train
peel the tape away
brown shoe in fresh cement
grisly sentinel of street park art
soldier a la carte
The Pied Piper strikes again
