It's All Behind Us

When I sit down and think I just wanna cry My head fills with thoughts Of you and I You're all I'm dreamin' of While I sleep Why can't I get away Away from the past It's all behind us Nothing can change that But why won't my heart Just believe that Why won't your memory Leave my aching heart alone It lingers and tears me up Oh, just leave behind It's all behind us, now There's nothing we can do To change what was The love we once shared Has slowly slipped away Slipped away into oblivion No matter how much I love you It's all behind us It's in the past It's best to leave It right there It's all behind us Nothing can change that But why won't my heart Just believe that Why won't your memory Leave my aching heart alone It lingers and tears me up Oh, just leave behind It's all behind us, now No matter what I think I just can't help The way I feel inside It just doesn't matter How much I want you back Back here with me It's over, yeah Just say it's over, yeah One more time, just say it Over for good Over forever Say it So that my broken heart can heal It needs to know Because it just won't Just can't Because it's all in the past It's all behind us Nothing can change that But why won't my heart Just believe that Why won't your memory Leave my aching heart alone It lingers and tears me up Oh, just leave behind It's all behind us, now Why won't your memory Leave my aching heart alone It lingers and tears me up Oh, just leave behind It's all behind us, now

An intresting read in deed! I have to confess, I had to read it again becuase I guess I'm so use to following puncutation that it kind of threw me for a minute but once I read it again, I got the idea of the block. I think it's cool the way it is but I'm just not sure about the spacing. I guess other people have mentioned it but if you read it again you can fully absorb it...at least me. LOL! I'm a very slow reader. LOL!

Interesting good, mitra? what was odd about it? the lack of puncuation? or what? did you think it had a good overall effect?

Ok this was rather odd to read but I do like the block. In a way, it shows this meshed up, rushing bunch of words all trying to show itself at the same time. Interesting read.
