Cumshot
The good pen can write and type and explode and live and love and kiss and fuck.
The good pen will be in your pocket, it will never burst and will never need to be sharpened.
What can you do for the pen but put it to use?
What are writers doing?
My middle name is Stanza. No, it's not.
You work for the pen. My name is Lust.
My name is Dr. Wright.
The good pen will not ask your name, but you will tell it.
Write your sad 9th grade poems, write your death certificate, write your will, write your prose, write your signature, write your signature, your signature is blood write blood blood write and no stop write your letters, write love letters, be written by the pen, impregnate your pen.
Ink across the paper is sperm within the womb.
Neon automation breaks ugly bowls of toilet cleaner in naked, naked subtext opening new mouths and drinking the juice out of the fucking funnel of words.
The good pen will be used long after you've died.
Paper is my wrath's machine, death to the beast!
Long live servitude! Long live the pen!

I stumbled across this going through Waxseal's library. She has very good taste. This is no exception - to me it's a cool mixture of Avant-garde and manliness. Slamish perhaps? I really hate descibing poetry. It's fucking good, I'll leave it at that.
I'm bookshelving this bad boy myself. I also have good taste. |

You win the award for the most provacative and eye catching title EVER - hands down. I couldn't not read this poem when I saw that title. As to the poem (I'm calling it a poem- that night not be what it is but i'm a prose person so you'll forgive me :-)
Ink across the paper is sperm within the womb. - That's absolutely brilliant - I LOVE this line. Overall, a very, very smart piece I'd like to hear out loud. |

| John, this is great. I hope you can come to the San Antonio Main library for a reading someday. We have them once a month. Sometimes they are boring sometimes they're great. You would be well received by many of us. Great writing here thanks. |

| holy rumple me stiltskin this is a good piece. hmmmmm, what to say what to say. I like the fact that you've turned the pen into a metaphor of universal strength and power. You've done a great job of conveying the fierceness and effect of writing. I related well for the most part. for the most part. yeah, so well done sir :) |
