The Town Crier

The jealous fire when in its sacred rage
Sought to destroy the Greek Huntress
And Sire is now rekindled in this modern age
By man's obdurate and chosen numbness

Hark! The Age of Night in the town now cries
With fixed eyes on his heavenly decree
'The refining inferno once again will purify
When all you love takes precedence to me.'

Turn not your deaf ear to redemption's knell
It even now crosses old Rubicon towards Gaul
All ancient wonders save one dispelled
By he who knew the answer to them all.
