On this hill upon hills I knelt
On the knees that bled up
A long road from dawn to day
Built is this cross from bone to ash
A feat due only to devotion
Horrid yet revered to the eye
Salient even to the heavens
Seconds grow thinner into a grain
The journey to true purity has begun
Gazed upon by the ghost of reason
I mount myself bare against this piece

I feel dense when I read this because I don't entierly get it. In the end I visual Jesus, but when you wrote this you didn't believe in him, so what gives?
Wow, very deep...i can sense a lot of meaning in this though it's hard to describe in words...i feel much reverance and devotion in it however. great writing, keep it up
