The Hunt

my heart flutters and races with
   the expectation of new blood
my eyes behold this most beautiful flesh
   the aroma
     seeping into my senses
tempting me to explore every inch

gently caressing flesh with my flesh
captivated by the feel of every curve beneath my touch
      so I touch
       and lick
         and touch
           and taste
             and touch
and sink my teeth into this newness

        and
     it
        is
            like nothing Ive ever had

its essence dripping from my lips
rolling it around on my tongue
    savoring every morsel,

devouring as I explore

the newness begins to wane
   alas..
        the spell broken

oh what a fool
   tricked again by my senses
      blinded by my vision

my desires
   again
      magnifying these mysteries
into more than they are

my desire starving my soul

with each conquest
   unable to find the mystery
that can captivate and hold me spellbound

I
   begin
              all
                    over
                              again
