sweet sleep
I lust for ...
...your comfort
......your whisper in my ear
.........your soft touch as you sweep
the nightmares from my waking eyes
I hunger for your darkness
to fill the void...within
sleep
sweet sleep
I desire your sympathy
allay the coming of the dawn
for she seeks
to devour
my dreams

the pain
crushes my chest
and
creates turbulence
.......inside my thoughts
inside my thoughts.....
.....legions of tempests
swirl
into each other
boiling
.....churning
currents
and rip tides
grey
.....and black
..........and white
coalesce
it's actually quite
.....beautiful.....
peculiar
....how pain
and stress.....
can paint such exquisite masterpieces
.....inside my head

i'm tired of feeling?......for today
off to close my eyes
and drift
to dream
