We planted a seed not long ago
Not knowing if it would survive on its own
Through April showers and summers sun
The flower grew stronger in our garden of love
Fall came and winter went without a flaw you see
The flower stands tall and strong
Springs eternal hope
A friendship between you and me
Like the seed that was planted
Our friendship has flourished
growing stronger with each passing season
We've given each other strength
When the storms set in
Have given each other hope
When the world seemed to come to an end
The happiness we've shared hand in hand
On a wing and a prayer
A friendship that has no end
Springs eternal hope
flourishes in our garden of love
