Recycled Dreams
Let our lives unfold as the pages of this book are exposed
Introduction to a love that neither one of us have known
I'm ready, where are you?
There's no need to hide anymore
Reveal yourself to me
All of you let me experience you
Let me breathe into you
Become one with you
Our hearts let them beat as one
Let our paths collide head on as we race through time
Becoming one; just you and I
Carried along this path like the leaves in the gusty autumn wind
Let me paint the canvas of the life we once lived
My eyes open to yours
Let me see for the first time
A love that shines as bright as
the glistening light on the rippling ocean waves
Warmth as comforting as the summer sky
Let the essence of you
Become the essence of me
Liberating me from these days I have for so long seen
Let me experience you, love, let me experience you
No need to rush, I want to see all of you
The anthem of our hearts has been sung
Rejoice in me as I rejoice in you
Perfection disguised as a flaw
Eyes that have seen the world beneath
What if our dreams could be recycled for the world to see?
The truth that has for so long been hidden within our sleep
Dream unto me as I dream unto you
Breathe life into me as I breathe life into you
Let our dreams formulate the path that brings us together
Life starts and ends here
In the midst of recycled dreams and a love that never ends.
Forever was something that was worth waiting for.
