Tiny Rosebuds

Tiny rosebuds;
dainty; dressed;
sleek in pink or
yellow; in Sunday best;
young and smooth;
delicate, as the wind
moves; tiny rosebuds;
christened by
the morning dew.

Thank you! I grew up in nature with flowers, ponds, and wilderness...thus why I picture these things and write about them. It's where my heart is. I believe you commented on "Our Love is Within," as well. I created that poem in about 5 minutes while thinking about someone I would never meet in person. It has received many, many reviews like yours. That person taught me that love is truly just within our hearts, and not all about the physical.

I like the thought behind your poetry. I would probably use a different form of punctuation other than a semi-colon. Your use of imagery is wonderful. I can see the tiny rosebuds glistening in the morning dew. I look forward to reading more.
