...a delightful moment ©

... now in my deathbed,
surrounded by those loving to me,
even if only one is missing.
Initiating inventory of what was bad
in my life and what was good;
a single name comes to mind,
I scream it so loudly that,
no other thoughts can be heard,
yet, nobody in the room seems to notice.

Filled with your beautiful aura,
I let go a tear full with your existence
quickly rushing through my cheek.
Once again feeling you,
like a kiss that says I love you,
an exquisite touch that I miss so much.
We converge for the last time.
'? a delightful moment.

A serene breeze transforms the tear,
'?what wonderful feeling of ecstasy,
now that it fills the room as air;
'? what a magnificent moment it is,
people perceive that something
breathtaking just happened;
but the only thing that they see,
is a pleasing expression in my face.

Saying that even though is my last moment on earth,
it seems to be the first one in paradise.

I like the ending cause it didn't make death sound like something to be feared and the realisation of that means a life well lived.

There's a lot to think about here, Isidro, and you've stated it so well. One of my top three biggest fears is being on my deathbed and knowing I once had a chance to feel a magical moment, be with THE ONE, and then blew it away with a breath of idiocy, ignorance, or pride. To realize this at the moment of our passing ... it's a little overwhelming inside.

Again, you've given me a lot to consider. ;) That alone speaks to the talent you have of offering words like gifts. Muchos gracias.

Isidro:

Who is dying? Should I be concerned? ;)
