Them-6/7/06

My mind keeps turning but my body is still
I speak but none hear
I cry out but none understand
they hear me but they do not listen
they fight but they do not know what for
I am alone
Though surrounded by beings I am alone
I am tormented my a host of spirits
no one hears them but me
I talk of Legend and Epic Life
They hear me, They understand
They see where I stand
They see the path
That which is cloud to me and fog the them is clear to Them
Insanity beckons, speaking of peace and meaning only war
Death calls, offering contentment. And at times I wish to answer
I see three roads, though 2 lead to the same place, the third I do not know how to take
My thoughts flee like leaves before the winds
whisked away by forces I cannot comprehend
I know what I must do but I do not know how to do it.
And forever They whisper, They chant.
I tell Them to go and They leave
but They always return
tell me what I must do to be forever in Your courts
apart from Them
I will do whatever I must to be safe, forever, with You.

Nice piece.

the line: That which is cloud to me and fog the them is clear to THEM
lost me. Maybe--That which is cloud and fog to me is clear to them

just a thought
