Act I

Scene I - Muleel Ser crosses Weldain border with captured Lord Nobinoshi, Nikain following, but is captured by Naeddyn
Scene II ' Melric arrives at Ardrossan and is greeted by Tor. Guards bring captured Nikain To be tried. Melric interprets for him and meets later with him and Tor. They decide to go after Muleel Ser.

Act II

Scene I ' Tor, Melric, Nikain, and few others depart to chase down Muleel Ser. They cross in to Weldain.
Scene II ' pursuers arrive in Llandysul to find out where Muleel Ser is going. Melric finds out their destination ' Cleethorpe.
Scene III ' pursuers pass into Llegrais, and arrive in Cleethorpe. After a long search they find Muleel Ser on board a ship bound for Annunziata, in Lataeneuim. They kill him and free Lord Nobinoshi, and find a document that outlines an invasion plan for the west.

Act III

Scene I ' pursuers return to Calydon to find that the invasion has begun. Sheildaig has been completely destroyed and Jiefaen Lord of Corsaro with an army of Thurok Warriors, march on Ardrossan. Disillusioned, Melric warders off into North Calydon. Tor prepares for war; he sends messages to Weldain and Llegrais for help.
Scene II - Erikar The Blue Knight arrives in Ardrossan and meets Tor. He goes off after Melric. Tor is defeated at pass and retreats to Ardrossan.
Scene III ' Erikar confronts Melric, and convinces him to come at the aid of his brother ('never stop fighting' speech). They take ship to Korak-Thanum where they join the Thares Marines.
Scene IV ' Erikar, Melric and the Thares Marines relieve the siege of Ardrossan, Jiefaen Lord of Corsaro, and Thurok retreat back into the Calydon Sea. Lord Nobinoshi invites Melric and Erikar to pursue Jiefaen to Corsaro.

Act I

Scene I ' coalition forces assemble and leave Korak-Tharum.
Scene II - coalition forces pass through Warnov Sea and The Nyborg Straits. Then turn south to Yam'Atri Islands.
Scene III - coalition forces arrive at Yam'Atri Islands and meet Lord Ushise, and Lord Koryan, commanding the forces of Yam'Atri and Chos'an, respectively. Machaemas Champion of Annunziata arrives from Lataeneuim, requesting help for his city, which is losing the war with Udine, coalition leaders promise to help Annunziata if they send a army to assist in the invasion of Corsaro. Machaemas agrees.
Scene IV - King Builerioth of Llegrais and King Cunad of Udine discus a alliance. King Builerioth confesses he has sworn allegiance to the 'Lord of the Dark Isle' and agrees to help King Cunad in the war against Annunziata if he will also swear allegiance. King Cunad agrees

Act II

Scene I - Jiefaen Lord of Corsaro meets with his commanders to discus defense of Corsaro. Mular Ser, Amasador of the West promises imminent arrival of armies of Llegrais, and Udine.
Scene II ' Coalition fleet departs from Yam'Atri Islands, is briefly attacked by Chin'an pirates, and lands near Milhai.
Scene III ' Coalition forces successfully attack Milhai. Lord Sedoisi of Milhai is killed. Melric, Erikar, and Lord Nobinoshi depart to scout jungle to find Karsh (no army had ever landed on Corsaro and lived).
Scene IV ' armies of Annunziata under King Auraliais and Llegrais/Udine under King Builerioth land almost simultaneously in south Corsaro. In their march north they stumble across each other and battle ensues, both armies heavily damaged but Annunziatan forces defeated, they flee north to Milhai, where coalition force is still landing.
Scene V ' seeing the Scene IV battle from above Melric, Erikar, and Lord Nobinoshi infiltrate Karsh in hope of confronting Jiefaen before he can rally his forces. They meet him in the throne room and after brief conversation battle ensues. Jiefaen's powers (magic-like) easily dispose of Erikar and Lord Nobinoshi (Erikar is stunned, Nobinoshi killed), leaving Melric. Jiefaen attempts to convince him the join the winning side but is enraged when Melric claims to be Glaivehand. Battle continues, Melric is not killed but is severely beaten.
Scene VI - Llegrais/Udine forces join with scattered Milhai and Chin'an forces and besiege Milhai.
Scene VII ' Erikar regains consciousness and saves Melric from death. Melric is almost killed. They escape on a boat out of Karsh's harbor and sail to Milhai, which is on the brink of falling. On the way out of the harbor they see red fire burst out of the top the citadel of Karsh.

Act III

Scene I ' coalition forces evacuate Milhai after heavy losses and the arrival of Melric and Erikar. Lord Ushise assumes command of Yam'Atri forces, Erikar assumes command of total coalition forces, Lord Ushise is not pleased.
Scene II ' coalition forces arrive at Yam'Atri. Melric decides to go back to the west to raise army in Calydon and Weldain. Erikar decides to entrench on Yam'Atri.
Scene III ' Jiefaen pledges to destroy all who invaded Corsaro.

Part I ' The Road Begins

Act I

Scene I - Melric (young), Tor (young), Lord Uric Ironhand, and Lady Myraen are traveling to Cymru from Altnabara. They are ambushed by Muleel Ser, who is acting on the order of Jeifaen to kill Tor. Lord Uric Ironhand and Lady Myraen are killed; Melric and Tor escape on horseback.
Scene II ' Melric and Tor arrive at Sheildaig, where their uncle Lord Argith and his children Kataeran, Reilyn, and Alisen live. He takes them in.

Act II

Scene I ' Melric goes to Ardrossan to live with Reilyn and his wife, Narenein. Narenein tries to tempt Melric, and then blames him (think Joseph and Potifer's wife). Tor comes to Ardrossan to see the trial but refuses to testify as a character witness; Lord Temal gives Melric the death sentence via Pillum Line.
Scene II ' Melric joins the Pillum Line of the Warband of Carlais, which will be assisting Prince Rhyl in repelling the Llegrais invasion of Weldain. First battle near Penfro, Melric purposefully throws his javelin short, and then retrieves it as the Pillum Line charges. he is not killed. Carlais then orders the Warband to charge. Battle ends in victory for Calydon.
Scene III ' Melric serves in the Pillum Line for 2 more battles but still is not killed. Carlais decides to free him to fight in the Warband. Tegid gives him a Glaive.
Scene IV ' Warband continues war into Llegrais. Carlais is killed, Melric elected champion.
Scene V ' near Crewe Melric's Warband is surrounded and trapped, all are killed except for Melric, who is rescued by Erikar, who takes him back to Calydon.

Act III

Scene I ' in Ardrossan Melric is pardoned for past 'crimes' and given command of the Warband of Airdrie.
Scene II - Accompanied by Erikar and Prince Rhyl he liberates Weldain and invades Llegrais.
Scene III ' on the brink of total victory peace in declared by Lord Temal and Melric's Warband is disbanded. On the journey north, back to Calydon he is disillusioned by the hate the Llegrais people have for him. Instead of going back to Calydon, he wanders east, into the Tharum Mts.

Part II ' The Wind of the Nei

Act I

Scene I ' Melric wanders out of the Tharum Mountains and into southern Chos'an near Haiju. He sees, from a great distance, a Chin'an slave caravan, and the brutality they are infamous for.
Scene II ' Melric finds his way down to the Great Eastern Plateau and runs into a slave caravan, he follows them for a time, until he witnesses a rape. He the attacks and slaughters the slavers, Freeing the slaves among which is Saneia. Melric pledges to destroy the slave caravans.
Scene III ' one of the freed slaves, Yi-Shin decides to follow Melric and help him as best he can, Saneia and several others do the same. They and many of the other slaves they free become the 'Wind of The Nei' (Nei being the eastern term for the Tharum Mts.).
Scene IV - the Wind of The Nei continue to disrupt the slave caravans, which turns the tide of the War (both by diverting soldiers to protect the caravans and hurting the funding for the Chin'an war effort, which was coming mostly from the sale of slaves to Corsaro).
Scene V - the Wind of The Nei joins with the Chos'an imperial army, lead by Lord Koryan of Kimch'aek (who is also Saneia's father) and decisively defeat the Chin'an at the Battle of Songt'an. By this time Melric and Saneia have fallen in love; Lord Koryan respects Melric, but is not entirely pleased that it took the help of a foreigner to win the War. Yi-Shin has started to spread the belief that Melric is The Glaivehand of Yam'Atri legend; who will, according to several prophecies, destroy the Pirates of Milhai and end the Weren (simply a eastern term for the Thurok) raids.
Scene VI ' a messenger from Lord Nobinoshi of Yam'Atri arrives and requests that Melric come to the Yam'Atri central isles, to the court of Haramachi on Atri. Melric accepts.

Act II

Scene I ' Melric and Yi-Shin depart from Andong via Yam'Atri Fleet ambassador transport ship. They arrive in Mun'ru harbor and enter the court of Haramachi, where Lord Nobinoshi reigns as Northern Isles Governor (despite the fact that Atri is in the Central Isles the Nagasi have held Haramachi since the Greats Wars).
Scene II ' Melric enters the court of Haramachi and meets Lord Nobinoshi. Nobinoshi is impressed by his nobility, honor, and knowledge of the minds of the Chos'an people. After seeing him fight a mock battle with his own champion Nikain, he is convinced that Melric is indeed The Glaivehand, and presents him with Aiglos, the legendary Glaive of the Nagasi, which according to legend The Glaivehand had once wielded during the Great Wars.
Scene III ' Nobinoshi charges Melric with his Great Task: to kill the Lord of Corsaro. He then instructs him to free the Chos'an slaves still in Chin'an. Melric leaves Yam'Atri and returns to Chos'an.

Act III

Scene I ' Melric arrives in Kimch'aek and rallies the Wind of the Nei to invade Chin'an and free the slaves. Saneia wants to come but Lord Koryan forbids it. She ignores him and follows Melric in secret. Knowing that he will force her to obey her father she does not tell him.
Scene II ' the war goes well and many slaves are freed until a fleet of Milhai Pirates lead by Lord Sedoisi arrives to aid the Chin'an. The Wind of the Nei is trapped and outnumbered in Yancheng. Saneia, who was not trapped, pays for a merchant ship to take her to Yam'Atri, where she convinces Lord Nobinoshi to help Melric. He sends her back with Nikain and medium sized force.
Scene III ' Saneia and Nikain return to Yancheng and rout the Milhai fleet, without their support Lord Sedoisi is forced to withdraw into inland Chin'an. Saneia and Yi-Shin are killed in the battle.
Scene IV ' Melric, heartbroken and disillusioned once again, runs to the only place he knows to, back to Calydon.

Part V ' The Tyrant

Act I

Scene I ' Coalition forces meet at Haramachi to discuss defense of Yam'Atri. Division occurs between Lord Ushise and Erikar. Lord Ushise demanded that he be given total command of the Coalition or Erikar and all foreign troops must leave Yam'Atri. Erikar takes second option and withdraws his forces to Chos'an.
Scene II ' The Great Invasion Begins, Chin'an and Western forces invade Chos'an and Milhai and Thurok forces invade Yam'Atri.

Act II

Scene I ' Melric returns to Calydon and confronts Tor, demanding his army in order to help Erikar. Tor refuses and banished Melric from Calydon.
Scene II ' Melric ignores Tor's orders and uses his own fame to raise an army of both Calydon and Weldain warriors. Before Tor can imprison him he takes his army crosses the Tharum Mts. Into Chos'an.

Act III

Scene I ' Yam'Atri is overran and very few manage to escape, Nikain leads the survivors.
Scene II ' the Coalition forces in Chos'an are beginning to buckle under the Chin'an and Llegrais/Udine assault, And will certainly fall when the Milhai and Thurok forces arrive from Yam'Atri, when Melric and the 'Army of the West' (which includes the Legions of Korak-Tharum) arrives. The 'New Coalition' retreats to Korak-Tharum, and the Blue Citadel.
Scene III ' the Grand Army of Corsaro crosses the Tharum Mts. Into Korak-Tharum and burns most of it, the populace having retreated to the Blue Citadel, which is considered the most powerful fortress city in the world. The Grand Army of Corsaro attacks the Blue Citadel and after a long siege it falls. About ½ of the New Coalition manage to break out through a weak spot in the Corsan lines and through various tunnels. Erikar (who gives his life so that Melric can escape), Prince Rhyl, and King Auraliais are killed. Melric assumes command of all western forces.

Act IV

Scene I ' Melric leads the New Coalition back to Calydon where he finds that Tor has betrayed him and joined the Grand Army of Corsaro and invaded Weldain. He is forced to kill him. Knowing there is no strong fortress in Calydon for the New Coalition to make their last stand Melric decides to retreat to the ancient isle of Gundabaid, and entrench in the ruins. They depart from Ardrossan.
Scene II ' Melric and the New Coalition arrives in Gundabaid and fortify the ruins in the northern part of the island.
For reference only: the surviving New Coalition commanders are: Melric, Lord Koryan, Nikain, Prad'Decair, and Machaemas.
Scene III ' the Dark Horde of Corsaro lands on Gundabaid and attacks the entrenched New Coalition.
Scene IV ' the lower levels fall, Lord Koryan and Emperor Chi-Cheres are killed
Scene V ' the upper levels are breached and Nikain, Prad'Decair, and Machaemas are killed, as with all of the enemy commanders;
Scene VI - Melric, pursued by Jiefaen, flees to the high court. Jiefaen traps him there and forces him to fight him. Melric tries to explain what he realized when Erikar died, that the only way to defeat you enemies in to let them win. Jiefaen scoffs at him mocks him. In order to show Jiefaen the truth of the 'Revelation of Erikar' Melric allows Jiefaen to kill him. Having conquered the world Jiefaen realizes that what Melric told him was true, Melric had won by allowing himself to be killed, if he had not given his life Jiefaen would have taken it and been victorious. But by giving it Melric had stripped Jiefaen of his power to be victorious and had won. In the last moment before the high court collapsed he stopped running and gave his life to the true Glaivehand.

Act V

Scene I ' Melric lay on the causeway to the gates of heaven; he got up, cast away his Glaive, and walked toward the gate. As he neared it the gate opened onto a golden street with a people cheering on all sides. Through this Jubilation Melric walked into the center of the city and knelt before God, who said, 'well done, good and faithful servant, I am well pleased'. Melric rose and walked back out onto the street, where he saw Saneia approaching him, they embraced, and over her shoulder he saw a dark clad figure passing though the gates.
