Carried in All
21 December 2006
To know love is to know your heart,
to know beauty was to touch your soul.
A feeling from within, a hand from a far,
your beauty, all to behold in glory of faith.
My love to you, my feelings made true,
across a wind, a path of passion to breathe.
My breeze upon your soul, my heart to show,
this outer gathering of poetic words to speak.
Your heart, your everything, my giving to seek,
for could it be, or was this a dream.
One to sleep, another unknown,
awake, but unaware of your being.
Feelings captured, words strung in a net,
would it ever be, your eyes, your smile,
pleasant hearts, beating side by side.
When to know love was to know your heart,
and to know beauty is to touch your soul
"Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart
and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your
hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes."
Deuteronomy 11: 18 KJV
