Ranting to the extreme

This might not even make sense, I dunno! This is just some stuff I wrote when I came home from school one day and my internet was down so...yea!

In life we find that there are two types of people; good people, and bad people. Everone is always trying to justify their actions in order to make themselves seem as good people, but does this really make it so? So much controversy exists on this topic that to try and create a solid line between good and bad would be utterly pointless, however, we can still manage to set guidelines.

When speaking of bad things, one comes to mind almost instantly: killing. Killing, the ending of life, the squelching of energy, the annhilation of physical form, the releasing of a soul not your own, a forced ascendence, or just plain stopping the flow of blood and therefore life, whatever you would call it, we all know it's bad. So then, why is it that in war killing is a good thing? It's made legal and not seen as a sin before god in the eyes of the murderers we call our soldiers. People are called heroes and celebrated for ending countless lives "in the name of our country". You may be thinking now, "well it's ok, because it was for our country and they would've hurt us if we didn't hurt them." You may also be thinking "who is this guy to question our soldiers?" But thoughts such as these are simply cowardice thoughts, a means by which to hide ourselves from the truth. The truth is, it's still wrong. Who are we to say that those enemies we kill would kill us if we didn't make the first move? For all we know, they could change their minds and figure it's not worth it to lose so many lives. Killing in self defense is still wrong, but neccessary at times. However, killing in the name of self defense is not the same thing. To claim that we attack a nation to defend our own is simply that, a claim.

Moving on, another thing that could be easily seen as a horribly bad crime is sex out of wedlock. Well, it should be seen as a horribly wrong thing anyways, not that most people in this age see it as thus. One thing that really does anger me is underaged sex. Why would anyone do that to themselves? One night of pleasure could ruin your
entire life, destroy your whole future, and yet we do it anyways. It's stupid, is it not? If someone were to walk up to you on the street and say, "Hey there, I've got a deal for you, I'll give you the best pleasure you've ever felt for one night, but you have to give me your furture in return and become a homeless beggar." Would you say yes? If you would, stop reading this, you're just lying to yourself and none of my points will get across to you anyways. THAT is what underaged sex is like people, it's just like that. I mean, I'm not saying it ALWAYS happens this way, hell, you could have unprotected sex with random women your entire life and never have anything happen, but the odds are against you. Even when using a condom, even if it's only a .1% chance, do you really want to take that chance? Do you really want to put your entire life in the hands of chance? I think not.

Moving on yet again, let's talk about what is considered a good deed. Hmm...tough one these days isn't it? Saving a old women...well, saving anyone for that matter. Saving people is indeed a good thing, but not an event that happens all too often. Here's the deal, with media these days and all the super-amazing acts of heroics and blah blah blah we see on TV, our view of good deeds has been scewed and distorted into an unrealistic, unrecognizable form. You know what a good deed is? Telling the truth, that's a very good deed, indeed, ha ha, that was a pun. Anyways, It sometimes can be very hard to not lie to people, and telling the truth is an underappriciated act. Lying is a sin people, and yet we commit this sin every single day. The extent and severity of the lie can be anywhere from a little white lie, to lying about doing drugs. Thing is, all lies are bad, but we'll never just not lie, so don't even think this is curable, I was just bringing it up is all. So bad on topic again, who decides what things are good and what things are bad? I guess God decides, but then again, God can't tell us the answer, can he? No, i'm not being sacreligious, I'm a christian, I'm just saying that he can't directly speak to us, unfortunantly, cause we could use the help. I just think people need to step back, look around, and appriciate the good deeds that everyone does on a daily basis. Oh and no, I have no point to anything I'm saying, I'm just typing because I have thoghts running thorugh my mind and need to get them out.

NEXT!!!! Umm....smoking! Drugs, all bad! Or are they? We've been told since we were little bitty thing that DRUGS ARE BAD and that we SHOULD NOT DO THEM and all that jive. Now, I agree with some points, and don't with others. Some drugs can be used (yes i'm talking illegal drugs not asprin) to relieve extreem amounts of stress that otherwise cannot be relieved, but taking these drugs just to get high and be an overall dumbass is not the right idea people, that's why they've become illegal. Extacy used to be a very legal and highly used drug because, guess what, it made people feel good and brought people together. It made everyone feel as if there were no worries in the world and all things were good. Then people began abusing it and raping people because they felt this was just fine and so it got banned from use, who would've thought. Now let's go back and think. If this drug had remained a drug for theraputic use, used to help fighting couples as it once was, and not abused at all, it would still be legal today. It would also save alot of marriages. But no, people had to be stupid, way to go stupid people! Oh and by the way, tobacco bad, no positive side-effects that weed can't do better, kills people who use it and everyone around them. I think that if someone related to a smoker or who is in constant contact with a smoker for whatever reason develops cancer and dies, even though they themself never smoked, that smoker who gave them the cancer should be put into jail on charges of manslaughter, because guess what smoker, YOU KILLED THEM! I mean are these people stupid? There're all like "Well...uuuuuhhh...smoking is fine cause I don't care if I get cancer that's my problem!" Ok fine, kill yourself by smoking, but you'd best do it locked in an isolated room away from all other people, if not, it's not your problem anymore, it's the problem of everyone around you that you're killing.

Ok that all aside, I think i've finally removed some of the pressure building up inside my skull so bye bye.

Oh yea, the List:
Bad:
Killing
Underaged and out of wedlock sex
Smoking
Misusing illegal drugs, or any other drug for that matter.
Good:
Not lying (pffffft)
Saving people

And I think that's it....wow, good is losing, that sucks, doesn't it? Oh btw, if I happen to send this to you, or it somehow makes its way to you, add your thoughts on the subject and send it back to bloodstar_28@hotmail.com
