Looking for each other ©

Two souls looking for each other
dancing to the rhythm of despair,
lost in the labyrinth of destiny,
wondering if hope is ever there.

...hiding in the dark corners
of a world that doesn't care.

A perpetual obsessive frustration,
when one can not encounter the other,
absolutely ravenous desire to be closer,
anxiously questioning if they should bother.

In believing they can fool fate,
the tormented spirits are being deceived;
because when their path was designed,
the possibility was never conceived.

Hoping for a miracle to take place,
conceivably ironic moment in time
finding themselves in the same maze;
a shadowy cellar, savoring their fine wine.

Aroused with strong emotions, moving fast
in grievously pursuit of a new sensation;
that destiny is merely an observant
and no longer controlling their direction.

I like your message in this about making your own choices despite the believe in destiny. The characters simply add to the strength that one person can give to another to follow through an action. Nice work.

dancing to the rhythm of despair,"
I just love this line. Excellent imagery it is like watching a silent movie, very effective and powerful word choice. Each line provoked a raw emotion as I read. Great writing.
