our king is here

Withered coarse beams
Jerusalem wood
Defined by sand winds
Ancient chasm air
Thatch

Nowhere else to go
It must be here

Chimes of pastoral
Ox Camel yoke chains
Foretelling of the great moment
Rituals of Kyoto monks

The people wait

Shepard follows the
Cosmic beacon

Wise pilgrims persist
Their journey
Effortless
Aid of prophesy
Paradise refugees

Zenith emanates
Proportionately to the
Day that will come

Wailing of a
Spotless babe
Greeted by the
Unseen chosen ones

The Ancient One
Is here

A mother and father
Rejoice
An unknown
Earthly heavenly family
Has been borne

Peace is now here
Calm of the sea
Bathes the wise,
The Shepard,
And the people

Night is made Day
Might of light
None are dismayed
A vacuum of sound

All love awaited
Waits no more
Our King is here

I agree with Sean's assessment of the line length. Nevertheless it is a very good poem. It is an enjoyable read and that is what the masses want. It is what will make people want to read poetry again.

The brevity seems sporadic, but it's actually quite precise....Ill imagery, rhythm and blending of past, present and future....

Pretty good. I must say though, it was pretty annoying to see those tiny little lines. I would make each stanza into one or two lines; I think it would flow better.
