Sunrisee
Sunrisee
The butterfly sets her wings on fire
Out of desire
To become a caterpillar once again.
And to be mistaken then vigorously taken
For a peel of lime with the first tequila.
(A curious cat on the pillar to bee-killed).
The fly sets her wings on butter
Out of the gutter
Hoping to become a worm again.
And to be mistaken then vigorously taken
For that worm having fallen in love with the rose.
(Living 2ft Underground Close).
The old cold cup of tea
Mirroring the empty sea ( in my eyes) and
The buttered-creamy wafers of the sun
Is waiting for the son.
(To warm the water in the run).
But instead -
Bread and butter lie for breakfast,
Bread and butterlies everybody could afford.
Dread and gutter in accord
With flies.
Better eyes to raise awareness,
Deadly words to raze '
Two rays of nowhereness '
Good morning!
