I wonder'¦As you stand there can you finally hear me Can you finally see what you've ignored for so long That you and I both were oh so wrongAbsent now is the hatred I carriedThe same hatred I felt when you both got married You came into our lives based on a technicalityAnd destroyed what little we knew of realityWe didn't ask for this and yet that exactly what we gotA stepmother who obviously forgot'¦.Or maybe you never knewThat my sister and I were there tooBlame can be cast were it may, and I take my share of itBut now it's your last chance to take care of it You must let go of who you want to be and become who must be Do what you've never done before in your life and trust me Being in a family isn't a toy you pick up and play with when you wantIt's more about the bad times than good Something I wish back than, I understoodIt's about more than the husband and wife It's about trails, tribulations, pain and strifeLetting go is essential to understanding why You mustn't give up on my sister Just try'¦ Try to feel more than you did with me Try to understand that you and my sister could beThe family I never got the chance to see So as you stand there'¦Don't cry for me now When you couldn't cry for me then I wonder if I was your flesh and blood Would you have cried for me then
