I lie here every night waiting for her to come through that door So I can tell her the truthBut every time It's like I hit muteI want to tell her so I can finally get this off my chestAnd maybe she'll forgive the restOf all the things I've doneLying to her was the worst oneComing home everyday to wash off the scent of deceptionTelling myself that this was an exception To the vows we took when we got married I can still remember the day I picked up and carried Her to the bed we would call homeBut the entire time it seemed I was all aloneIn wanting to make our honeymoon Nights we'd never forgetBut caressing her body was as close as I'd getTo feeling my wife inside and outI've never even heard my wife scream and shoutWhile both of us laid togetherAnd after three long yearsIt didn't get any betterSo I went out and found what I couldn't get from my wifeHoping I was able to resurrect my sex lifeAnd when I did I continued on a steady pace But every kiss would remind me of her faceEvery inch would remind me of tasteThat I couldn't get out of my mouth While I was touring the southAnd every night it gets harder to keep it insideSometimes I wish I could run and hide From the difficult thing I must do 'Honey, there's something I have to tell you'�
