The Luckiest Man Alive: The Star

Life's biggest joke was making me A man who knew nothing of povertyAffording the pleasures I only dared dream of in my headIs now the reality I dare look at from my bed Beautiful women abound and more money than I can see I have everything I could ever ask for Except the feeling of being freeFree were moments on my hand I would often count The real me is something I sold down to the last ounce I know nothing of true happiness, joy or glee I know nothing of being a real man, though I play one on T.VThe flash of the camera would always leave me dazed Thinking of a day I actually enjoyed the sun's gazeI could do or go wherever I please But living this life is making it hard to breathMy life is like a balloon I hold it in my hand, but now I must release And maybe then I might be able to find some peace
