Action/Reaction
Curtain blows
Unveiling repressed thoughts
Memories
Broken windows
Baseballs teach a kid
To lie to live to cry
To laugh because it's funny to die
In the tenth grade with a pin-up in your
Pocket
Of a childhood crush
And finger puppets to cheer up
The reject, the genius
The anomaly that can't
Come to class anymore
Because we laughed last week
Push, point, laugh, point, push a little harder
Until he runs back to mother screaming
'Make them stop! I can't take it ay longer!'
Push until we die for two years
And come back again as strangers
With mouths for one
Thoughts for him
And distressed dreams
About when he was in love
And all we could do was push
